What is this...Norland acknowledges something that did at one time represent
"mainstream" No Bubby the bass player or "Fat's" or "Stretch" plucking on a guitar named Lucille. No crack induced riff's? OMG...Norland is a human being? Rock on Norland...Rock on you Mullet lover. A giant HOD (Horns of death) to you my Lengends of Rock afficionado.

And to you Greg...You may live in A-mer-I-Ka but you will always be a redneck Canadian. Tell that to the Hillbillies of the Metro-Parks.

I'll give you that to some degree you POS...
However I am not sure if Rush was ever mainstream.
Man I miss Steelhead.

Getty did a cameo on the Strange BREW album with Bob and Doug and appeared on SCTV. That is as Mainstream as a Canadian Band could have gotten in the early 80's.

God those were great times...
Party on eh!!!!

I'm diggin this reprieve from the rivers. It does me good to get away from it. Makes me want it more come the fall and you know how stupid I get about it.

Happy A-mer-I-ka day you hosers. I celebrated Canada Day with some Molson Ex (actually found it at a grocery store) gave a big salute across the pond when I was at the beach.

Great videos, maybe one day you can get one of those Gibson Howard Roberts Fusion that Alex used during the Exit Stage Left tour.

Fished the Clearfork-Mohican river for brownies but they were all homos and there were far too many hillbillies for my liking.

OUCH...you struck a nerve...
I used to own a beautiful Gibson Howard Roberts but in a fit of stupidity sold it in my early twenties...for some thing as insignificant as rent or food or something.
It was a very nice guitar and very unique...much like Alex's.
I feel your fishing pain.
I have tied up all my "Pickeral" harnesses and I am ready to start my shitrat dredging here at the mouth of the St Clair.
Stay tuned for that shameful BLOG entry..lol
Summer sucks...
